Student Accommodation Development

A Student accommodation building situated on the boundary of the cricket ground close to the university. The new building provided high quality and state of the art accommodation for the ever increasing competitive market.

The building is a 175 bed unit that has a range of external finishes to the exterior, ranging from brick to cladding. Corner details were specially designed to deal with large corner windows that projected out past the building line. Atkin Trade Specialists provided a detailed programme that enabled the contractor to co-ordinate other trades starting on site. The client was able set dates when to start their first fix works will start. The careful planning process, enabling the contractor to gain time against a very tight programme using the Metsec Metframe system to its best advantages.
