Mayflower Apartments | Southampton

Urban Regeneration Project

Mayflower apartments are situated in the heart of Southampton, walking distance from the central station. The apartments are a ten story Metframe Metsec structure, built off a podium transfer slab that forms the car park.

The building site was extremely tight with minimal storage, requiring all our experience and planning skills to ensure that the project was delivered on time. We not only delivered on time, but to a high quality and within budget. The frame was built with only five skilled operatives that worked as a team. Included in the Metframe package were all curved stairwells and stairs, cantilevered balconies, lifts shafts and roof structures. "From our early meetings with yourself, throughout the design and build stages right up until the completion of the principle structure last week, we have been impressed by the professional way in which your organisation and team have approached the project" said Adrian Cator the Technical Manager at Drew Smith.
