Windsor House comprises of student accommodation with 245 beds, situated in the centre of Cardiff. The build was challenging due to the complex location and design. The exterior varied from cladding, to stone and brickwork. The stone cladding required co-ordination between both parties to ensure that setting out of stud location and loadings were met. The finish looks good and stands out from other buildings around.

Atkin Trade Specialists provided a detailed programme that enabled the contractor to co-ordinate other trades starting on site. The client was able to schedule dates, so that the first fix works could start in synergy. The careful planning process, enabling the contractor to gain time against a very tight programme using the Metsec Met frame system to its best advantages.
